Consultations |
Psychologists do more than therapy. As a consultant, I provide expert advice to parents, schools, organizations, and other mental health professionals. These are short-term problem-specific consults or on-going professional relationships that provide support through difficult transitions or tough organizational problems.

For Parents |
Consultation services for parents are available for to families seeking expert opinions to a specific question. This may include help with understanding what to do next after receiving a diagnosis, an IEP classification, addressing recommendations in a psychological report, or learning about options that might be available. I can help you with an action plan and next steps if you are feeling lost or overwhelmed. Once consultation is complete, you may be referred to another provider. In some cases parents prefer to continue working together in therapy (if called for). This is something we can determine together at the end of the consultation but is NOT a requirement for consultation.

For Schools |
Schools are charged with educating our children. Having been an educator, I know that the training doesn't always prepare a teacher or a school for what to do when mental health challenges arise. ADHD and learning disabilities in particular are challenging to effectively accommodate. The consultation I provide is targeted and specific for educators. I've been in the classroom and know what it feels like "on the other side." As a result, I know what schools and teachers are looking for.

For professionals |
Mental health professionals get stuck too! I offer consultation services to professionals who are in need of working through challenging personal circumstances, tricky cases, or diagnostic clarification. I also provide services to organizations who are seeking to improve the mental health of their employees.
